Rescue operation saves 162 students in Jharkhand

After heavy rainfall flooded Lav Kush Residential School in East Singhbhum, teachers quickly moved 162 students to the rooftop for safety.
Police officers, fire brigade teams, and local villagers used boats to rescue everyone before disaster response teams arrived.
Thankfully, all students are safe.

School closed; students being sent home

The school is now closed, and officials are making sure every student gets home safely across different parts of the district.
With river levels still rising and more rain expected, the government has put health centers and emergency teams on alert to keep people safe in flood-prone areas.
