RSS centenary celebrations: Path sanchalan to take place in Delhi

India

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is turning 100 this year, and they're celebrating in a big way across Delhi.
On Thursday, volunteers will parade through 346 neighborhoods in their signature uniforms, with residents expected to greet them by showering flowers—a tradition called path sanchalan.

PM Modi releases ₹100 coin, postage stamp

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the main celebration on Wednesday, unveiling a special ₹100 coin and postage stamp to honor RSS's century of service.
He highlighted how the group's focus on nation-building and selfless service has shaped India over the decades.

Looking back at RSS's journey

Founded back in 1925, RSS has grown into one of India's biggest volunteer groups, known for grassroots work and its "Nation First" motto.
This anniversary isn't just about looking back—it's a nod to how much influence they've had on India's social fabric over the last hundred years.
