Zhimomi was accused of misusing ₹14.35 lakh, which led to his sudden retirement—a move he's challenging as unconstitutional.
He argues that criminal cases against judges need approval from the Chief Justice, based on a 1991 Supreme Court rule.
He's also raised bigger issues about how things work in Nagaland's judiciary.
The High Court had earlier refused him temporary relief, but now his fight continues with support from his legal team.
