Tamil Nadu couple arrested for killing son over domestic quarrel

A Chennai couple, Manmadhan (57) and Kalyani (54), were arrested after police found their 30-year-old son Sridhar dead at home.
Sridhar, who worked as an auto driver, had been struggling since his divorce and often clashed with his parents.

Both parents admitted to their roles

The case came to light when a neighbor discovered Sridhar's body and called the police.
Investigators say after finding Kalyani outside, afraid to enter because Sridhar was creating chaos, Manmadhan entered the house and attacked Sridhar with a pork chopping knife.
Both parents admitted to their roles—Manmadhan faces murder charges and Kalyani is charged with abetment.
The investigation is still ongoing.
