Telangana pharma plant tragedy: Investigation committee formed
After a tragic explosion at Sigachi Industries in Hyderabad left 12 people dead and several injured, the Telangana government has formed a five-member committee to find out what went wrong.
Announced on Monday, June 30, and led by Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, the panel will look into the cause of the blast, oversee rescue efforts, and suggest ways to prevent this from happening again.
CM Revanth Reddy to visit site on Tuesday
The investigation team includes senior officials from disaster management, labor, health, and fire services. Their main job is to dig deep into how this happened and recommend stronger safety measures for factories going forward.
