Two arrested in Raja Raghuvanshi murder case
The honeymoon murder case of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi has taken another turn, with two men arrested for helping his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi cover up the crime.
Police say a property dealer and a security guard helped Sonam hide jewelry and a pistol at an Indore flat rented by co-accused Vishal Chauhan, just after Raja's killing.
Sonam stayed at this flat before surrendering on June 8
Property dealer Silome James was caught while trying to run away and admitted he burned a jewelry box to get rid of evidence.
Security guard Balla Ahirwar was also arrested for helping stash items at the flat.
Forensic teams checked out the fire scene but haven't found the missing pistol or jewelry yet.
Sonam stayed at this flat before surrendering on June 8; she remains the main accused, along with her alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha and three others, in what police say was a planned murder that ended with Raja's body being found near a Meghalaya waterfall.
