UIDAI is inviting applications from young engineers for several vacancies

Young engineers looking for a job have an exciting opportunity: the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the statutory authority behind one of the world's largest biometric systems, is inviting applications for several vacancies. If chosen, you will be working with top minds behind the Aadhaar project, which now covers 90% of the population. Find out more details about the opportunity here.

    What positions/profiles are available?

The UIDAI has vacancies for several profiles: manager, technology executive, big data analytics, de-duplication software and technologies, fraud management, biometric-based authentication, cyber security, latest technology architecture including the enrolment and authentication design, and more. If selected, you will work on practical application of biometrics, security and encryption. You would ensure secure data management practices and will have to protect the system from attacks.

    Who can apply?

If you're an engineer with two years of experience in biometrics, software development, software testing, technology architecture design, cryptography, project management, cyber security and more, the UIDAI is looking for you. Or if you're a fresh B.Tech/B.E. graduate. You'll need to have strong programming skills (Java, MySql, Hadoop, iOS, Android); ability to design and deploy technological solutions; and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

    How to apply?

You will have to appear for an analytical and aptitude test at first. If you clear it, you will be called for an interview. Some of you might have to sit for more than one round of interview. If chosen, you will be awarded a two-year contract, extendable based on conditions. To apply, send your detailed CV to hiring@uidai.net.in or hr@nisg.org.
