Woman accused of killing pet in 'Tantric' ritual
In Bengaluru, a woman named Triparna Payak allegedly killed her pet Labrador as part of a "tantric" ritual in her Mahadevpura apartment.
The crime came to light when neighbors noticed a foul smell and alerted authorities, who found the dog's decomposed body—strangled and with its neck slit.
Payak had wrapped the dog's body, locked up the flat, and disappeared before anyone arrived.
