'Modi can't do what Lalu did in 7 lifetimes': Shah
What's the story
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reacted to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav's statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can't match his father Lalu Prasad Yadav's achievements in social justice and Railways profit generation, even in seven lifetimes. "I agree with Tejashwi that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can't do in 'seven births' what Lalu did. He can't indulge in multiple scams," Shah said.
Infiltrator allegations
Shah vows to identify illegal immigrants, remove them from rolls
Shah also accused Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of trying to turn Bihar's Seemanchal region into a hub for infiltrators. He vowed to identify illegal immigrants and remove them from the electoral rolls. "Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are hell-bent on turning the Seemanchal region of Bihar into a den of infiltrators... We will detect and identify every illegal immigrant," he said.
