What's the story

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the Congress party and Pakistan of not recovering from "Operation Sindoor." Speaking at a rally in Arrah, Bihar, he said both are still reeling from the operation. "Today, India hunts down terrorists in their own hideouts. Recently, we carried out 'Operation Sindoor.' Didn't we fulfill our guarantee and prove it before you?" he asked.

Political critique

Modi slams Congress for not appreciating army's success

Modi also slammed the Congress party for not appreciating the army's success in "Operation Sindoor." He said, "But despite the army's success, the Congress and RJD seem unhappy about it." The Prime Minister also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra,' saying it was aimed at protecting infiltrators who would take away Bihar's resources.

Election promise

Modi promises developed Bihar under NDA government

Modi promised a "developed Bihar" under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, which he said would be "upright" and "foresighted." He also took a jibe at the Congress for not accepting Tejashwi Yadav as their chief ministerial candidate until the Rashtriya Janata Dal "put a katta (country-made pistol) on its head." The Prime Minister also referred to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, accusing Congress of promoting those guilty of the violence.

Counter-attack

Rahul Gandhi hits back at PM

In response, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused PM Modi of being "remote-controlled" by big business and scared of US President Donald Trump. He said, "Having a huge chest does not make you strong." Gandhi also compared Modi to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who stood firm against US threats in 1971. "But when Trump told Modi to stop 'Operation Sindoor,' he halted it," Gandhi said. Bihar gears up for two phases of voting on November 6 and 11.
