Six Congress MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha for five days over 'unruly behavior'. The six members; Adhir Rajan Chowdhury, Gaurav Gogoi, K Suresh, MK Raghavan, Ranjeet Ranjan and Sushmita Dev; "had stormed the Well, torn papers and thrown it towards the Chair", Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said. Even afterwards, Congress members protested the move and demanded all party members be suspended.

Opposition sloganeered against government, caused chaos

The Lok Sabha was rocked by issues of farmer suicides and more. The opposition disrupted Question Hour by sloganeering against the government for rising attacks by 'cow vigilantes'. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was also present. Party member KC Venugopal demanded all party members be suspended.
