Acer launches 'Avengers' themed laptops in India
What's the story
Acer, in collaboration with Marvel Studios, has recently launched three special edition laptops in India. Inspired from the famous Avengers characters, Acer has introduced a Thanos Edition of its Nitro 5 laptop (Rs. 80,999), an Iron Man Edition of the Swift 3 (Rs. 79,999) and Captain America Edition of its Aspire 6 notebook (Rs. 63,999). Thanos Edition
The Nitro 5 notebook sports a 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS display
This gaming laptop bears a portrait of Thanos on the lid which is designed using In-Mold Roller technology. It is powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300HQ CPU coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM, 128GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive. It also features dual exhaust fans with Acer's Coolboost technology.
Iron Man edition
This Swift 3 edition sports a 14-inch full-HD IPS display
This red colored laptop features Iron Man's symbolic arc reactor on the lid which glows when it is powered on. It is powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U CPU paired with 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD and on-board graphics. The laptop comes with a Type-C port, supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and packs a battery that's rated to last up to 10 hours.
Captain America
The Aspire 6 features a 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS display
This special edition notebook features an aluminum lid with Captain America's iconic pentagram which 'shields' a 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS display. The laptop is powered by an Intel 8th Gen Core i5-8250U CPU, coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM (user upgradeable), 1TB hard drive, an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU and a HD webcam. It also comes with Dolby Audio enhancement for the stereo speakers.

What about their availability?
All the three laptops will be available in offline stores like Croma, Reliance Digital and even Acer Exclusive stores. From April 23 onwards, they will also be available online exclusively on Amazon India.
