All Nokia smartphones will get Android Oreo update
Bringing a smile on the face of Nokia users, HMD Global has now confirmed that all of its Nokia smartphones will receive the latest Android version i.e. Android 8.0 Oreo. This was confirmed by HMD Global's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas on Twitter. All new Nokia devices - Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will get the update. Here's more.

Now that we know that Android 8.0 Oreo is coming to Nokia devices, the next question is when. Sarvikas cheekily said in his tweet, "No comments yet on timing so that I don't get into trouble." However, now that the cat is out of the bag, you can expect a proper schedule, listing Android Oreo release dates for various Nokia models, any day now.
When will we get Nokia 8?
HMD Global said that Nokia 8 will have an October launch in India. Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, microSD card support, a dual-camera setup, and a 3090mAh battery. It's going to be the first flagship model of Nokia post revival. The Indian price tag for the phone is not yet known.
