Anthropic just switched up its subscription policy for Claude AI.
Starting April 4, 2026, if you use third-party tools like OpenClaw with Claude, you'll need to pay separately. They're no longer included in the regular subscription.
This means a new pay-as-you-go setup for those extras, so users will have to rethink their budgets a bit.
