Apple's AI Siri facing delays due to internal feedback

Apple engineers are feeling uneasy about the new AI-driven Siri coming in iOS 26.4, expected to drop in early 2026.
Internal feedback says Siri isn't quite living up to the hype yet, which is making its spring release a bit tricky.
The update was actually supposed to arrive with iOS 18.4 last year but got pushed back for more fine-tuning.

On top of tech hurdles, Apple's AI division has seen some big names leave—like Ke Yang heading to Meta and a dozen researchers moving on from the Foundation Models team.
Even leadership roles have shifted, with Siri now under software and robotics under hardware.
