Early Monday morning, Amazon Web Services (AWS) had a major outage that took down a bunch of popular apps—think Snap, Coinbase, Roblox, and even McDonald's.
The trouble started just after 3:00am ET in the US-East-1 region and lasted a couple of hours. By 5:30am ET, AWS reported significant signs of recovery.
The outage also hit global favorites like Robinhood, Fortnite, and Disney+.

United Airlines flagged a "system glitch" after users reported problems with their app and site.
