Technology

Belkin is recalling its Auto-Tracking Stand Pro and two BoostCharge 20,000mAh USB-C PD Power Banks after a defect was found that can cause them to overheat and possibly catch fire.

Who's affected and where were they sold?

About 83,500 units were sold in the US between August 2020 and August 2025 at stores like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Belkin's website.
Another 2,385 units went out in Canada.

What should you do if you have 1?

Check your device for the model number on the bottom or sides—if it matches MMA008, BPB002, or PB0003, stop using it right away.
Head to Belkin's website to fill out a Recall Claim form.
Don't toss these in regular trash; use a certified battery recycling center.

Refunds (plus a bonus)

If your device is recalled, you can get a full refund or store credit by submitting your serial number and proof of purchase online.
Belkin is offering an extra 20% bonus with your refund or credit.
