Even G2 glasses and R1 smart ring launched

Technology

Even Realities just dropped the Even G2 smart glasses and R1 smart ring—both focused on privacy with zero cameras.
The G2s weigh only 36g, look and feel like regular specs thanks to titanium-magnesium frames, and cost $599.
The R1 ring, priced at $249, is available at half off for $124.50 when purchased with the G2 glasses during the launch period, and is designed as a handy companion.

What's new in the G2 glasses?

The G2 glasses pack a big upgrade: a display that's 75% larger and 50% sharper than before, slimmer lenses with over 100 coatings for clarity, plus full prescription support (-12 to +12 diopters).
They come in two styles/three colors.
Built-in Even AI handles real-time translation, notifications, navigation help, teleprompter mode—basically your digital assistant on your face.

The R1 ring is a handy companion

The R1 ring lets you control your glasses with simple touch gestures—no need to reach up or pull out your phone.
It also tracks heart rate, temperature, steps, calories burned—and lasts about four days per charge.

Smart glasses for $599

If you want smart glasses that don't creep people out with hidden cameras—and still offer sharp visuals plus useful AI features—the Even G2s are a solid pick.
They're cheaper than Meta Ray-Ban Displays too ($599 vs $800), so they might just fit the bill for everyday wear without sacrificing style or privacy.
