Breakthrough technology detects snipers, bombs from hundreds of feet away
Base Molecular Resonance Technologies (BMRT), a Florida-based company, has come up with an amazing tech that can spot explosives and firearms, like AR-15 rifles, from hundreds of feet away. Surprisingly, it can detect these threats through solid structures, like buildings. The firm believes this new tech could really amp up the security for political figures and other high-profile folks.
BMRT's technology: A new defense against potential threats
BMRT's patented tech is being hailed as a total game-changer in security. It can detect and neutralize potential threats before they get a chance to become a problem, which could help avoid situations that might lead to national chaos or put political leaders in danger. Ken Valentine, a BMRT board member and former Special Agent in Charge of the Dignitary Protective Division, has endorsed this innovative solution for its ability to enhance public safety.
A non-intrusive solution for high-profile individuals
The new tech is super discreet too. That makes it perfect for celebs or anyone else who's in the spotlight and might be in danger. Plus, it can easily fit into whatever security setup is already in place—think mobile units and perimeter monitoring. So, no matter how sneaky a sniper is, whether they're hiding in a building or chilling far away, this tech will catch them.
Detecting gunpowder's unique molecular signature
Lee Duke, co-founder and president of BMRT, said that their tech can pick up on the unique molecular signature of gunpowder. The system can find the source, whether it's nearby or hundreds of feet away, and even if there are obstacles like buildings or moving vehicles. In a recent independent third-party study, it flawlessly identified a loaded AR-15 from 580 feet away—via two buildings—in 10 out of 10 tests.
