Google Messages can now edit your photos
Technology
Google announced a "Remix" feature for Messages, so you can now edit photos directly in your conversations.
Powered by the Nano Banana image model, Remix is part of the November 2025 Pixel Feature Drop and is rolling out first for RCS users in the US, UK, India, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand.
Remix is available on Pixel 6 and newer devices
To try Remix, just long-press any photo in a chat or pick one from your gallery—then tap the Remix button to describe how you want to tweak it (like "Make a custom mini figure").
Right now it's only on Pixel 6 and newer devices in English, but Google says more Android phones and languages are coming soon.
All edited pics get a Gemini spark watermark for that extra touch.
