Google opens 'Gemini for Home' early access to all US users

Google is rolling out early access to Gemini for Home to all Google Home users in the US starting December 10, 2025.
If you've got the Google Home app, you can now opt in and get your invite within a day—no more waiting lists.
This marks a big move as Google shifts from Assistant to Gemini in smart homes.

Works on most devices, and your feedback matters

Gemini for Home supports Google Home and Nest devices from 2016 onwards.
The full experience is on Nest Hub (2nd-gen), Nest Audio, Nest Mini (2nd-gen), and Nest Hub Max, while older models and third-party speakers get basic features.
Google wants users to share feedback through the app so they can keep making Gemini even better for everyone.
