Google opens up Gemini's early access program for more users
Technology
Google is letting more people try out Gemini for Home, its next-gen smart assistant.
If you're eligible, you might get an in-app invite to test new features and share feedback.
This beta is separate from Google's Public Preview and helps the company fine-tune Gemini before a full launch.
What's new with Gemini at home?
During setup, you can choose from 10 assistant voices and set guest filters to control how unrecognized users interact with your device—including who can access video logs.
The cool "conversations across devices" feature lets voice-matched users keep chatting with Gemini as they move between rooms.
Once you're set up, your Nest device will switch over from Google Assistant to Gemini automatically.
