Google Photos brings back perspective correction tool

Technology

Good news for anyone who edits pics on their phone—Google Photos just brought back the perspective correction tool after lots of users complained when it disappeared earlier this year.
Now, you can easily straighten out artwork, book covers, or anything that looks a bit off by tapping the perspective icon in the crop section.

Cropping tool gets a visibility upgrade

Along with this, Google also redesigned the cropping tool to bring back sharp 90-degree corners instead of those tricky rounded ones.
This makes it way easier to see your whole photo while editing.
The update is rolling out gradually in app version 7.55, so if you don't see it yet, hang tight!
