Google Photos just made video editing way easier

Google Photos has rolled out some handy new video editing tools for both Android and iOS.
The big update? A redesigned editor with a universal timeline, so stitching together multiple clips and telling your story is much simpler.
There's also an adaptive canvas for smoother editing, plus you can now whip up highlight videos using templates that sync music, text, and cuts to the beat.

Quick highlight videos and more ways to personalize

With the new highlight video feature in the Create tab, you just pick a template, drop in your photos or clips, and Google Photos builds a music-synced video for you—no fuss.
Android users get some extra perks too: you can add custom text with different colors, fonts, and backgrounds.
