Google is reportedly planning to launch a screenless fitness band under its Fitbit brand later this year, aiming to take on Whoop and Oura.
basketball player Stephen Curry even teased it on Instagram, hinting at "a new relationship with your health coming soon," alongside the Google logo.
Fitbit app adds AI health coach
Launching with the band is an upgraded Fitbit app featuring an AI health coach that tracks everything from cycles to mental wellness.
You'll get basic features out of the box, but advanced tools may need a subscription.
With competitors like Whoop raising big money lately, Google's clearly stepping up its fitness game.
