Google's new AI notification organizer drops for Pixel 9, 10

Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 users just got a handy upgrade—Google's Notification Organizer.
This new feature uses on-device AI to sort your notifications into Promotions, News, Social, and Suggested categories.
It's part of the latest Android 16 update and aims to make notification overload a thing of the past.

What you need to know

The Organizer is exclusive to Pixel 9 and 10 (sorry, Pixel 9a users) and works in select countries if your phone's language is set to English.
By default, Promotions and News get quietly tucked away with a sparkle icon so your important alerts stay front and center.
To turn it on or tweak settings, just head to Settings > Notifications—if it doesn't show up right away after updating, try restarting your phone.
