Up front, the phone sports an all-screen design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel to boast a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. Up front, the sliding camera module also packs a triple camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/2.0) main sensor, along with a 2MP+2MP (f/2.4) dual-lens setup which assists in 3D face unlock.
The Honor Magic 2, apart from 3D face unlock feature, comes with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Further, in terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of non-expandable internal storage. The Honor Magic 2 runs EMUI 9.0 but Android Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 will be made available as an OTA update in some time. Under the hood, there's a 3,500mAh battery which supports 40W Magic Charge fast charging technology.
