ISRO's big plans: 7 space missions by March 2026
ISRO just announced a packed lineup—seven missions are set to launch by March 2026.
This comes right after they pulled off the successful launch of CMS-03 from Sriharikota.
Gaganyaan: India's human spaceflight dreams take shape
Early 2026 will see the first uncrewed Gaganyaan mission, sending a robot called Vyommitra into orbit.
This flight is all about testing how things work before real astronauts go up—think aerodynamics, re-entry, and making sure the crew module can be safely recovered.
Two more uncrewed flights are planned before humans get onboard in 2027.
Tech launches & Modi's ambitious goals
Beyond Gaganyaan, ISRO has commercial and tech-focused launches lined up—like deploying satellites for clients and rolling out new rockets built with Indian industry partners.
All these efforts support PM Modi's big vision: hitting 50 launches in five years and making India a serious player in human spaceflight and satellite tech.
