This is the world's most retweeted tweet, but why
All records are meant to be broken. Last year, Carter Wilkinson's love for nuggets broke Ellen DeGeneres' record for world's most retweeted tweet. And now, billionaire Yusaku Maezawa's tweet has been retweeted over 5 million times to beat Wilkinson's record. But there's a catch. To read Maezawa's tweet, you'll need translation and, in turn, will learn some digital marketing skills. Here's why.

If you've translated the tweet, here's how to read it
To set records on Twitter, you think you need to be a celebrity in real life too. No! You can offer $925,000 for a retweet like this Japanese fashion mogul and billionaire Yusaku Maezawa did. He promised to share 100 million yen between 100 randomly selected people who shared his post. Naturally, like other five million users, I also retweeted.
How Maezawa promoted his brand via the viral tweet
Maezawa tweeted to promote the success of its Zozotown website which made 10 billion yen in sales over Christmas and New Year. And as a token of gratitude, he decided to share 100 million yen between 100 random people. However, the alluring offer has two conditions: follow Maezawa's account and retweet the post. He currently has 5.56 million followers and several million non-Japanese people know about Zozotown.
Now know a little about Yusaku Maezawa as well
Maezawa earned fame as the drummer in a Japanese punk band called Switch Style. However, he gained tremendous success in the fashion world with Zozotown, and now has a personal wealth of $3 billion. Interestingly, last year in September, he was named as the "first private passenger due to be flown around the Moon by SpaceX" as part of an odyssey slated for 2023.
The entry for the offer closes today
Retweeting and winning hundreds of thousands of dollars is definitely the new lottery in town. So, if you haven't signed up till now, head to the first Twitter link above and simply follow @yousuck2020 and retweet the post. Notably, the entry into this 'retweet and win' lottery closes today i.e March 7, 2019.
