Technology
Archeologists just found a hidden mudbrick structure under Tell el-Fara'in, one of Egypt's oldest cities (once called Buto).
Led by Mohamed Abouarab from Kafr El-Sheikh University, the team traced the building back about 2,600 years to the Saite period, adding a fresh chapter to this already legendary site.

What makes this find even cooler? The team discovered amulets and religious objects nearby, hinting that the place might have had a spiritual role.
They didn't just dig; they used satellite radar and electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) to spot underground features, collecting over 1,300 readings for a detailed map.
Their high-tech approach gave us a clearer picture of ancient life beneath the surface.
