Microsoft announces haptic Surface Pro and Laptop at Computex 2026
Microsoft just dropped refreshed Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models at Computex 2026, focusing on smoother haptic feedback.
Microsoft redesigned the trackpad and Slim Pen haptics to give you gentle vibrations while you work or draw.
It's all part of Microsoft's bigger move toward ARM-based devices.
Surface devices use Snapdragon X2
You can pick up the Surface Pro in a sandy "Dune" shade or the Laptop in a cool "Jade."
Under the hood, both run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 chips (X2 Plus or X2 Elite), with memory options up to 64GB and storage up to 2TB.
Prices start at $1,500 for the Pro and $1,600 for the Laptop. Just keep in mind the Flex Keyboard is sold separately for $360.
Battery life gets a boost thanks to ARM chips, but graphics still lag behind Apple's M-series and Intel's latest Core Ultra Series 3 chips if gaming or creative work is your thing.
