Mozilla is adding an AI assistant to Firefox

Mozilla just announced AI Window, a new feature coming to Firefox that brings an AI assistant and chatbot right into your browser.
It's totally opt-in, so you're in control, and Mozilla says the whole process will be open and shaped by users—privacy and choice are still a big deal here.
This follows their recent "shake to summarize" tool on iPhones that quickly sums up web pages.

You can join the waitlist for early access

AI Window will join Firefox's private and classic browsing modes as a third option.
You'll even get to pick which AI model you want (though details are still under wraps).
