NASA to witness 2 asteroid flybys tomorrow
Technology
Heads up, space fans: NASA says two asteroids—2025 WD5 and 2025 WF10—are zooming past Earth tomorrow.
No need to worry, though; they're not dangerous, but they are big enough to get astronomers excited for some close-up study.
What's happening and why it matters
WD5 will swing by early morning at about 2.99 million kilometers away, moving at a wild 80,955km/h.
Later in the day, WF10 will cruise past at around 7 million kilometers out.
These flybys give scientists a rare chance to learn more about asteroids and sharpen their models—helping us prep for any risky ones in the future.
