NVIDIA's Huang says AI won't replace software companies
Technology
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang isn't buying the hype that AI will make software companies obsolete.
At an AI conference in San Francisco, he called the idea "illogical," pointing out that recent worries—sparked by Anthropic's new workplace AI tools—are overblown.
AI tools won't make software obsolete
Huang explained that even the most advanced AI depends on traditional software frameworks to actually work.
His comments came after big market drops for tech giants like Infosys and TCS, and a $300 billion dip in the Nasdaq, all triggered by fears over new AI tools.
In short: for now, software and AI still need each other.
