Leak reveals key specifications and features of OnePlus TV

OnePlus is set to take on the likes of Samsung and Sony with its maiden smart TV, the OnePlus TV. So far, several leaks and teasers have confirmed that the TV will arrive as a flagship model with a 55-inch QLED display and Dolby Vision support. Now, in the latest development, a new leak has revealed details about the chipset, memory and other specifications.
Just a couple of days back, the company itself shared a couple of teasers, confirming that its upcoming TV will feature a 55-inch QLED display with Dolby Vision support. However, details about the resolution remain a mystery till now. Further, as per the leaked specs, OnePlus TV will feature a 4K display with a density of 320 pixels per inch.
According to previous reports, OnePlus TV will be offered in four screen sizes across India, China, and the US. However, in India, the company may offer only the 55-inch model, at least initially. In other markets, we can see models with up to 75-inches.
As per the leak, the OnePlus TV will be powered by a MediaTek MT5670 chipset, paired with Mali G71 GPU, and 3GB RAM. As for storage, we can expect to see upto 32GB capacity for storing apps. Further, the TV will run on the latest Android 9 OS along with a custom and "improved" UI that will offer "seamless" integration with smartphones.
According to reports, OnePlus TV will make its global debut in India in the last week of September. The word is that the launch will happen on September 26. The flagship TV is also likely to be Amazon exclusive in the country.
