OPPO F11 Pro v/s Vivo V11 Pro: Which is better?
With more and more buyers gravitating towards budget and mid-range smartphones, OEMs are upgrading their offerings with the latest designs, improved cameras, and faster processors. In the latest development, both OPPO and Vivo have respectively launched the F11 Pro and V15 Pro smartphones with an all-screen design, pop-up selfie camera, 48MP rear camera, and mid-level internals. But which one is better?
Up front, both the phones offer an all-screen design with edge-to-edge displays and pop-up selfie cameras. However, V15 Pro has marginally narrower bezels to offer 91.64% screen-to-body ratio than 90.90% on the OPPO contender. On the back, the Vivo handset gets triple cameras and 3D gradient design while OPPO F11 Pro has dual cameras, physical fingerprint scanner, and gradient finish. Winner: Vivo V15 Pro.
The Vivo V15 Pro features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass. In comparison, the OPPO F11 Pro sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution. Winner: Tie as both the smartphones offer the same full-HD+ resolution. However, Vivo's AMOLED screen will offer slightly richer colors and deeper blacks than OPPO's LCD display.
The dual rear-camera setup on the OPPO F11 Pro comprises a 48MP (f/1.79) main sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the other hand, the Vivo V15 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) main sensor, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle sensor and a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Winner: Vivo V15 Pro for its additional wide-angle sensor.
Up front, Vivo V15 Pro offers a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper housed in a motorized pop-up camera module. By contrast, the OPPO F11 Pro's pop-up module packs a 16MP selfie camera. Winner: Vivo V15 Pro for its superior sensor.
The Vivo V15 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable upto 256GB). In comparison, the OPPO F11 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable upto 256GB). Winner: Vivo V15 Pro for its newer, advanced processor and higher storage capacity.
Both the phones come with a standard set of sensors including an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and gyroscope. However, the Vivo mid-ranger gets an in-display fingerprint sensor while OPPO's offering bears a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Further, the V15 Pro runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 whereas F11 Pro runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0. Winner: Vivo V15 Pro for in-display fingerprint sensor.
In terms of connectivity, both the phones offer all standard options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, headphone jack, dual-SIMs, and 4G VoLTE. In terms of battery, the Vivo V15 Pro packs a 3,700mAh battery while the OPPO F11 Pro houses a 4,000mAh battery. Moreover, both the phones support fast charging technology. Winner: OPPO F11 Pro for its bigger battery.
The Vivo V15 Pro is priced in India at Rs. 28,990 while the OPPO F11 Pro comes at Rs. 24,990.
While both the phones share similar designs, Vivo V15 Pro comes as a more premium and complete package for the price. Though pricier than OPPO F11 Pro by Rs. 4,000, it offers an AMOLED Screen, a superior selfie camera, a better rear camera setup, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a slightly better processor. Hence, of the two, Vivo V15 Pro is our winner.
