Pawel Szydlowski's Zuckoff iPhone app scans Bluetooth for smart glasses
Technology
Ever worry someone's wearing those sneaky camera glasses nearby? A new iPhone app called Zuckoff, made by Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski, can help.
It scans for Bluetooth signals from smart glasses like Meta's Ray-Bans and Oakleys, checks them against a database, and lets you know if any are close.
Around 5,000 users after its launch.
Zuckoff flags devices, offers pro alerts
With AI-powered smart glasses becoming more common (and not always easy to spot), privacy is a big concern.
Meta says its glasses have a recording light, but Zuckoff gives users extra peace of mind by flagging nearby devices.
There's also a Pro version with background alerts for continuous monitoring.
As wearable tech grows, tools like this are popping up to help people feel safer in public spaces.
