Meet Galaxy A7: Samsung's first smartphone with triple rear cameras
As the latest addition to its Galaxy A line-up, Samsung has introduced the new Galaxy A7 - the company's first-ever smartphone to sport triple rear cameras. The key highlights of the phone, apart from the novel rear-camera, are its full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 24-megapixel selfie camera. Up front, the phone has a traditional rectangular display with slimmer top and bottom bezels. On the back, there's a clean-looking glass chassis which houses the triple rear-camera setup. Notably, the fingerprint sensor is now mounted on the right side of the frame. The Galaxy A7 features a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2220 pixel) Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5.9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood
The Galaxy A7 is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 512GB). Further, the phone supports dual-SIMs, packs a 3,300mAh battery and runs Android Oreo 8.0 out-of-the-box.

On the rear, the Galaxy A7's triple camera setup comprises a 24MP (f/1.7) autofocus sensor in the middle, paired with a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor on the top, and an ultra-wide 8MP (f/2.4) sensor with a 120-degree field of view at the bottom. Up front, the phone packs a 24MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper with adjustable LED flash, Selfie Focus, and Pro Lighting Mode.

In terms of connectivity options, the Galaxy A7 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, ANT+, USB Type-B, NFC (region-wise), GPS and GLONASS. Sensors onboard the phone include an Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and RGB Light Sensor.
