Samsung Galaxy A70's official page goes live, India launch imminent
As an addition to its revamped Galaxy A series, Samsung is working to launch the all-new Galaxy A70 in India soon. The mid-range phone was recently launched in China alongside the Galaxy A80. In the latest development, Galaxy A70 has been listed on the Samsung India's official website, hinting at an imminent launch in the country. Here's our roundup of A70.
Samsung Galaxy A70: At a glance
In terms of design, A70 looks like a larger version of Galaxy A50 with a U-shaped notched display, a slim bottom bezel, triple cameras, and 3D Glasstic body. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a full-HD+ resolution (1080x2400 pixels) and a taller 20:9 aspect ratio. Further, the phone also offers an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy A70 comes with a triple rear-camera setup featuring a 32MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide angle sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, it houses a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera.

The Galaxy A70 is powered by an 11nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable upto 512GB). Under the hood, it packs a massive 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W Super Fast charging. Lastly, like all new Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy A70 also runs Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.
Galaxy A70 expected to be priced around Rs. 25,000
In China, the Galaxy A70 costs 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 31,000) for the 6GB RAM model while the 8GB RAM variant is priced at 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 34,000) As far as India pricing is concerned, the product page gives us nothing. However, considering that the Galaxy A50 starts at Rs. 19,990, we can expect Galaxy A70 to launch around Rs. 25,000.
