SpaceX launches 28 Starlink satellites, boosting internet coverage
Technology
SpaceX pulled off another successful launch on Sunday night, sending 28 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit from California.
This brings their active satellite count to over 8,500 as they keep building out global internet coverage.
The mission also marked SpaceX's 124th Falcon 9 launch this year and the company's 542nd since starting in 2010.
Falcon 9's 1st stage makes record-breaking 28th flight
The real star of the show? Falcon 9's first stage—Booster 1063—which made its record-breaking 28th flight and stuck the landing on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You."
This booster has already helped out with big missions like DART and Transporter-7, showing just how far SpaceX has come with reusable rocket tech.
