Spotify drops AI playlist creator for premium users

Spotify just rolled out a new beta feature called Prompted Playlist, but only for premium users in New Zealand (for now).
With this tool, you can ask the AI to build playlists based on prompts like your top artists from the last five years or tracks you haven't heard yet—making it way easier to get music that actually fits your vibe.

How it works & what's next

You can refresh these playlists daily or weekly, kind of like Discover Weekly but more tailored to what you want.
Not sure what to ask? There are pre-written prompts if you need inspiration.
Spotify says this is just the start—they plan to keep improving and eventually bring it to more users.
