  • Vivo is all set to launch the mid-range Vivo S1 smartphone in India on August 7.

    According to 91Mobiles, the Chinese tech giant is accepting the pre-bookings for the handset at a token amount of Rs. 2,000.

    However, as of now, only the entry-level 4GB/128GB model is available for pre-orders.

  • Reportedly, the Vivo S1 featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be priced around Rs. 15,000 in India. Talking about offers, buyers can avail 7.5% cashback using HDFC Bank cards, upto Rs. 2,500 cashback using Paytm, and a 10% discount on InstaCash app.

  • To recall, the Vivo S1 features a waterdrop notched design with a noticeable bottom bezel on the front, while the gradient finished rear panel houses triple cameras and LED flash.

    Further, the handset sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking.

  • The Vivo S1 sports triple rear cameras comprising a 16MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

    The handset is a treat for selfie lovers as it sports a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera.

    Moreover, the rear camera supports 4K videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

  • The Vivo S1 packs a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

    The handset runs Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 and is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

    Moreover, it gets all standard sensors and connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.
