Vivo's OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 starts rolling out

Vivo is rolling out its latest software, OriginOS 6, in India starting November 2025, kicking off with its flagship phones like the X200 series and X Fold 5.
This update brings Android 16, smoother performance, better battery life, and some cool AI tricks—think erasing objects from Live Photos and an AI-powered memory hub.

Update will reach more devices by December

More Vivo devices, including the V60e and T4 Ultra, will get the update by December, and the rollout should wrap up by early 2026 for models like the X90 and V40 series.
Vivo's also making sure both premium and budget phones are included, and for the first time, global models will have the Android suite pre-installed.
