WhatsApp now lets you save your status as a draft
Technology
WhatsApp is testing a handy new feature: you will soon be able to save your Status updates as drafts.
Whether you're halfway through adding text, stickers, or drawings, you can hit pause and come back later—no need to rush or risk losing your work.
Right now, it's available to some beta testers and feels a lot like what Instagram already offers.
How it works and what's next
There's a new save button in the Status editor that stores your unfinished update in your gallery.
If you try to exit before posting, WhatsApp may ask if you want to save or discard the draft—so accidental losses are less likely.
After testing for stability on different devices, WhatsApp plans to roll this out for everyone soon.
