WhatsApp now lets you send voice or video messages after missed calls

WhatsApp just made life a bit easier—now, if someone misses your call, you can instantly drop them a voice or video message without any extra steps.
No more hunting for the record button; it's all right there after the missed call.
The feature is rolling out as of December 11, 2025.

WhatsApp also rolled out a few more upgrades: you can react to voice chats, see who's talking during video calls with automatic speaker highlights, and enjoy better AI-powered image generation thanks to Midjourney and Flux.
