IPL 2027 trade: These 3 teams can target Yashasvi Jaiswal
What's the story
November 17 is the deadline for teams to finalize their retention and release lists for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2027 auction. Ahead of the massive day, there have been reports of Rajasthan Royals in talks of a trade deal involving their star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal. On this note, we look at three teams that can target the southpaw in the trade window.

Jaiswal can be a great fit at MI
Reportedly, Mumbai Indians previously held discussions with RR regarding a high-profile player swap involving Jaiswal and Hardik Pandya, though direct talks have since stalled.
However, the possibility of such a trade isn't completely off the table, according to Cricbuzz.
Jaiswal's addition would provide MI with an Indian opening partner for Rohit Sharma.
The former, who owns 2,593 IPL runs at a strike rate of 152.79, can also be looked as a long-term captaincy candidate.

Jaiswal's addition would boost KKR
With Ajinkya Rahane's retirement, Kolkata Knight Riders are on the lookout for a new captain and a top-order batter.
Jaiswal is more than capable of taking both roles. He can form a destructive opening pair with Finn Allen.
As KKR are likely to release Cameron Green (₹25.20 crore) and Matheesha Pathirana (₹18 crore), they could have ample purse to get Jaiswal's services.

Will LSG be Jaiswal's new home?
Following the trade out of Rishabh Pant, Lucknow Super Giants are also in the hunt for a new skipper.
Though they have strong candidates like Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh for the role, the owners and team management could prefer an Indian for the job.
Jaiswal's addition would also aid the side's shortage of a quality Indian batter.
