Abhishek Sharma has scripted history as he has become the first uncapped batter to complete 1,000 runs for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He reached the milestone with his ninth run against Punjab Kings in Match 23 of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).
The southpaw, however, could not last long as he fell to Sam Curran, managing an 11-ball 16 (2 fours, 1 six).
