Tennis superstars are back in action at Indian Wells, where they are competing in the BNP Paribas Open. Roger Federer continued his fantastic form in 2018 with a convincing win, whereas, former world number one Novak Djokovic faced yet another disappointment. Taro Daniel defeated Djoker 7-6, 4-6, 6-1. Cilic advances after beating Márton Fucsovics

World number 3 Marin Cilic outclassed Márton Fucsovics of Hungary 7-5, 6-3 in the Round of 64 at the BNP Paribas Open. The Australian Open finalist Cilic, who lost his Round of 16 match at the Rio Open to Gael Monfils, bounced back in style to win his opening round of the tournament. He is set to meet Philipp Kohlschreiber in his next match.

Djokovic falls yet again

Novak Djokovic's poor form continued as the Serbian suffered another shock defeat, this time by world number 109 Taro Daniel of Japan. The former world number one was knocked out of the BNP Paribas Open after being beaten 7-6, 4-6, 6-1 on his first appearance since his Australian Open defeat. In the match, Novak looked no where close to his pre-injury form.

Federer continues his flawless 2018

World number one Roger Federer is continuing to defy age, as he booked his place in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells with a 6-3, 7-6 triumph over Argentina's Federico Delbonis. The Swiss maestro's victory means he remains unbeaten this season so far, taking his record tally to an impressive 13-0.

Brilliant start

Yuki Bhambri upsets Lucas Pouille

Top-ranked Indian men's singles player Yuki Bhambri upset ninth seed Lucas Pouille of France 6-4, 6-4 at the BNP Paribas Open. Yuki registered one of the biggest upsets of his career in just 1 hour and 19 minutes. The 25-year-old will now face USA's Sam Querrey, who overcame Germany's Mischa Zverev 6-4, 7-5 in the second round.
