The 'Mayweather' chase
Wanheng needs to overcome Panama's Leroy Estrada in April or May to reach Mayweather's record.
The tie is stated to be a low-key affair, but boxers and fans will be following Wanheng to script a fairytale feat.
In 2017, Mayweather came back from retirement for a single match to fight Conor McGregor and earn his 50th win in a row.
A look at Mayweather and Wanheng
Mayweather is one of the most lucrative 'pay-per-views' sportsperson of all time. Nicknamed as 'Money', Mayweather has already retired. Wanheng isn't wealthy nor has the height of Mayweather, but can eclipse his record set. However, Wanheng's bout isn't going to attract the global audience.
