What's the story

England missed an opportunity to qualify for the Euro 2020 Qualifiers after being beaten by Czech Republic 2-1 in Prague. However, world champions France sealed crucial points after an Olivier Giroud penalty helped them overcome Iceland. Portugal rode on Cristiano Ronaldo's brilliance to beat Luxembourg. However, they still trail Ukraine by five points. Here are the key results.

Ronaldo career

Ronaldo one strike away from 700 career goals

Legend Ronaldo needs one more goal to register a career 700th one. He now has 94 goals for Portugal, who edged closer to Euro 2020 with a 3-0 win against Luxembourg. The Czechs levelled with Jakub Brabec scoring from a corner. Zdenek Ondrasek scored the winner.
